At ProcureCon Marketing Connect, we spoke to Josh Galloway, Senior Partnership Manager, and Lloyd Williams, Head of Strategy at Socially Powerful to see why these chose to sponsor.
Lloyd: I think the networking opportunities is the main thing, because at bigger conferences you’re having to play the floor, whereas here, things are more set up and people are more open to talking. It’s a lot easier to talk and have relaxed conversations with the delegates, making it easier to create connections with them. Because you’re not just talking about business, which is the best way to make connections with people.
Josh: I think the seniority is top notch. I’ve found ProcureCon Marketing Connect puts you in the room with some real industry leaders and people that are at the top of the tree. If it wasn’t for this event, we’d really struggle to get in touch with them.
Lloyd: Yes, I think time will tell. Here, it is all about awareness and initial engagement with people and getting to meet them face-to-face, which is obviously so much more powerful than via email or Zoom. It’s great to get facetime then we’ll work on how we follow-up and engage with people beyond today.
Josh: I think it’s put us in a position to succeed. Being here has definitely given us a platform to springboard off of.
Lloyd: Especially with brands who, typically, are hard to engage with or there’s a lot of competition. To put us near the top of the queue for agencies like ours is great.
