Currently the biggest challenge for Nicolas and Pernod Ricard as a decentralised group is to maintain a proper dialogue between their Brand Companies (producers of brand assets) and their market companies (user of these assets). In that regard they have developed and implemented a process called IBP (Integrated Business Planning) that ensures all dialogues are efficient and that the proper assets are developed, leading to more efficiency. In the coming months the goals are to consolidate data from multiple different data centers to reduce the spend of the group, finalise a global deal with key marketing agencies and think how to position procurement within the group for the future.
